Job summary

Reworld seeks an Auxiliary Operator to join our team and support the safe, efficient operation of our industrial disposal process. You will work with our control room to monitor boilers and pollution control systems, interpret instrument readings, and ensure equipment operates within safety protocols.

Responsibilities include monitoring auxiliary equipment such as pumps, fans, dampers, and conveyors, while performing sampling and treatment tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to read meters and gauges to identify trends.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures, including boilers and air pollution control systems.
• Read and interpret data from meters, gauges and industrial tools to identify trends and potential disruptions.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment: pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbines and electrical devices.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment such as cranes, skid steers, loaders and forklifts.
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and ensure proper refuse mix in designated pits and areas.
