Job summary

Polar Semiconductor, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer Intern for a 12- to 13-week on-site role in Bloomington, MN. You will collaborate with Industrial, Operations, Process, and Maintenance Engineering to develop data-driven solutions for manufacturing challenges in a high-automation fab.

You will gain hands-on experience building Power BI reports, analyzing large datasets, and applying AI concepts to improve factory operations while supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Ability to code in SQL, Python, or similar to extract data.
• Proficient with Excel and Power BI for data mgmt and visualization.
• Basic understanding of Manufacturing Science and Production.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop reporting solutions to improve factory operations and planning.
• Use large data sources to extract and analyze manufacturing and planning data.
• Build reporting in Power BI and other systems to convey data to program teams.
• Construct infographics that display key information in easy-to-understand formats.
• Leverage AI tools and find new ways to apply AI in the workplace.
