Job summary

Polar Semiconductor in Bloomington, MN, is seeking an Equipment Engineer Intern for a 12-13 week on-site program. You will support documentation, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement within a highly technical team environment.

You will work with the WINSQL database and Power BI to develop dashboards, gain hands-on knowledge of equipment repairs, and contribute to CIP projects alongside experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• Technical writing skills required.
• Able to clearly communicate concepts to teams.
• MS Office capabilities and basic data tools required.

Responsibilities

• Work with WINSQL database and reporting to develop Power BI dashboards.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to improve documentation or implement new docs.
• Learn equipment repairs and daily maintenance activities; participate in CIP projects.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to improve equipment availability and team efficiency.
