Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Painting Foreman to supervise industrial painting, coating, and surface prep crews on varied projects. You will ensure activities are performed safely, efficiently, and per project specs, while leading field teams and interfacing with inspectors and project management.

The role requires 5+ years in painting and 2+ years in supervision, with knowledge of coating systems and surface prep. On-site Andrews, TX location; strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of industrial painting, coatings, sandblasting, or surface prep experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or foreman experience.
• Knowledge of industrial coating systems and surface prep requirements.
• Experience with spray equipment and blasting tools.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and data sheets.
• OSHA regulations and safety requirements knowledge.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct industrial painting and coating crews on assigned projects.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Review project specs, coating requirements, drawings, and work packages.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety requirements.
• Ensure proper surface preparation like abrasive blasting and cleaning.
• Monitor coating application for quality and compliance with specs.
• Coordinate access equipment and fall protection systems.
• Inspect finished work and ensure quality and coatings specs.
• Maintain production schedules and crew productivity to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate material deliveries and storage of paints and blasting materials.
• Train and mentor crew members for safety and quality.
• Assist with inspections and client or regulator audits.
