Job summary

New Kent Coatings is seeking an Industrial Painter Foreman to lead field crews across the Mid-Atlantic region. The role involves abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and applying coatings such as epoxy and urethane on critical infrastructure.

Travel is required with per diem provided for travel, and OSHA safety procedures are mandatory on all sites. The ideal candidate has prior field leadership in industrial painting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• Experience leading an industrial painter crew in the field.
• Ability to travel for projects and manage field crews.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, working at heights).
• Reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead an industrial painter crew to meet production schedules and report on site.
• Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation.
• Operate and diagnose industrial painting and blaster equipment.
• Apply industrial coatings (epoxy, urethane).
• Ensure safe operation of blasting/painting equipment and adherence to OSHA rules.
• Travel to job sites as required (per diem provided for travel).
