Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in Kansas City to serve as the main liaison with assigned customers, focusing on strengthening relationships and identifying process improvements. The role involves on-site visits and collaboration with internal teams to boost customer satisfaction and efficiency.

The candidate will travel frequently, present to groups, and work with CSRs, QA, and production teams to resolve issues and drive Pratt projects that impact customers.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Minimum five years outside sales experience or related experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to collect data and generate reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present to groups.
• Basic arithmetic, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Strong problem-solving; ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
• Serve as main point of contact, communicating customer concerns to Pratt facility.
• Investigate opportunities to improve processes and costs; enhance run-ability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with CSRs on new items, customer activity, and production reviews.
• Support QA in complaint resolution; work with production and project managers.
• Lead Pratt projects impacting customers.
