Job summary

IRONCLAD powered by Mersino is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to drive business development from our Indianapolis area office, covering a territory up to Lake Michigan. You will own the process from identifying opportunities to quoting, ordering, and coordinating logistics with crews.

You will help plan quarterly objectives, travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and ensure safety standards while growing customer relationships in the energy, industrial, and construction markets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; dewatering, pumps, and construction equipment rental experience preferred.
• Experience managing construction projects and coordinating field teams.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating and bidding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory with business development activities.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests by phone, email, or in person.
• Prepare weekly plans and submit activity reports to management.
• Maintain CRM records and track opportunities, quotes, and orders.
• Coordinate bids, site visits, and project execution with crews to ensure profitability.
• Travel within the assigned territory and attend industry events as needed.
• Ensure safety programs are followed on all projects and manage change orders.
