Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for our Walters Wholesale Electric industrial team in Phoenix, AZ.

You will drive sales through in-person visits, identify customer needs, and build lasting relationships while traveling to customer sites and branches. Applicants should have 2+ years in electrical sales, a related bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the electrical or related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in sales or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze customer needs, overcome objections, and manage multiple accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math for pricing and profitability.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and maintain a flexible schedule for customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers through in-person visits to drive sales and build strong business relationships.
• Identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions by partnering with internal teams and product specialists.
• Prospect for new business and develop existing accounts to grow sales in Construction, Commercial, Energy Services, and Industrial markets.
• Generate accurate quotes and manage the sales cycle from inquiry to order.
• Attend sales and product training sessions to expand industry knowledge.
• Provide regular feedback on market trends and competitive activity.
• Resolve customer issues promptly while delivering outstanding service.
• Travel regularly to customer sites and branch offices.
