Job summary

Constellium Deutschland GmbH in Kentucky seeks an experienced Maintenance Planner to manage detailed planning and scheduling within the department. You will oversee priority setting, planned work execution, parts procurement and outage planning, building schedules based on allotted manhours and sequencing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field strongly preferred, but extensive experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 10 years of industrial experience in Maintenance or related field with a minimum of 5 years at the shop floor level, required
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, required
• Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, required
• Strong Planning and Scheduling skills, strongly preferred
• Ability to lead, optimize work processes, and drive desired results, strongly preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations, strongly preferred
• Detailed understanding of repair procedures and requirements, preferred
• Effective communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences, preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans work for the crafts with all relevant details including work task lists, data, blueprints, manhours, and outcomes.
• Builds weekly and outage schedules based on priority, tracks adherence and leads outage progress meetings.
• Coordinates with Engineering Leader, Engineers, and Supervisors to maintain priorities and schedules.
• Interacts with vendors, contractors, and plant resources to obtain supplies and services on time.
• Maintain work order backlogs, PM records, safety backlogs, planning priorities, and histories.
• Track and report critical department KPI progress.
• Builds a library of work task lists for repetitive jobs
