Austin Industrial is seeking a Millwright for a full-time, 40-hour week (4/10s) position in the United States. The role involves diagnosing and repairing industrial mechanical equipment, aligning machinery, and fabricating parts while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening and background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and industrial mechanical equipment.
• Replace defective parts and adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Tests, repairs, or installs mechanical units including pumps, governors, distributors, carburetors, brakes, and clutches.
• Replaces bearings, chains, sprockets, and various machine parts.
• Rebuilds pumps, cylinders, and other equipment as needed.
• Aligns machines using hoists, jacks, and precision tools.
• Fabricates repair parts as necessary.
• Work with PPE and adhere to safety requirements.
• Perform duties in multiple postures and environments, including heights.
