Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled Millwright NCCER for on-site work at our Texas facilities. The role involves installing, repairing, and dismantling heavy equipment in industrial settings, with emphasis on alignment, lubrication, and safe operation.

The position requires at least 5 years of journeyman experience, a valid driver's license, and NCCER is preferred but not required. Expect demanding physical work and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• No minimum requirement
• Minimum 5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Millwright NCCER preferred (Not required) & Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Replace defective parts and adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, and measuring tools.
• Connect power unit to machines and test unit to evaluate mechanical operation.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
• Position steel beams to support bedplates using blueprints and diagrams.
• Dismantle machines and prepare for shipment or installation site.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity in all tasks.
