Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks a Millwright to install, repair, replace and dismantle heavy equipment in industrial settings across the U.S. The role requires aligning machines, connecting power units, testing operation, and precise assembly with hand and power tools.

You will also support dismantling for shipment and on-site reassembly. Minimum 3–5 years as a Journeyman is expected; education has no formal minimum.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Journeyman level experience in industrial settings.
• No minimum education requirement for this position.
• Able to legally work in the United States (employment eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Replace defective parts and adjust clearances of moving parts.
• Align machines using hoists, jacks, and measuring tools.
• Connect power units and test mechanical operation of equipment.
• Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
• Move machinery using hoists, dollies, and trucks.
• Dismantle machinery for shipment and assist installation teams.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with foundation/bedplate work.
