Job summary

Austin Industries, Inc. is seeking a Millwright for on-site maintenance and installation of heavy industrial machinery. You will be responsible for installing, aligning, and testing equipment in utility and manufacturing environments.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of journeyman level experience, NCCER Millwright Certification, and a valid driver's license. Strong reading of blueprints and safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of journeyman level experience.
• NCCER Millwright Certification.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Replace defective parts and adjust clearances between moving parts.
• Align machines using hoists, jacks, and precision tools.
• Connect power units and test mechanical operation of equipment.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment; assemble and install equipment.
• Level bedplates and establish centerlines from blueprints or schematics.
• Dismantle machinery for shipment or installation and perform associated maintenance.
