Job summary

Aerotek in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a qualified millwright with hands-on experience in industrial equipment repairs. You will dismantle, transport, inspect, and reinstall machinery while interpreting blueprints and schematics to guide procedures.

Ideal candidates understand hydraulics, belt systems, pumps, and other machine components. This outdoor role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and good teamwork across two job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a millwright.
• In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.
• Construct and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, and other machinery.
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
• Transfer equipment to applicable sites for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
• Grind and file machinery parts.
• Supervise construction workers when using the equipment.
• Work with a range of hand tools, including measuring tools, welding, and brazing equipment.
• Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
• Visit various construction sites.
