Job summary

Buckeye, Arizona-based Millwright Mechanic sought to maintain and repair plant equipment in an industrial setting. The role requires expertise in electrical work, welding, and instrumentation, focusing on preventive maintenance and timely responses to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills including conveyor systems.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in welding and electrical maintenance repair.
• Expertise in preventive maintenance.
• Three to five years of electrical or instrumentation maintenance experience.
• Understanding of plant operational processes and procedures, including routine start-up/shutdown.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance in all areas of the plant on scheduled and emergency bases.
• Repair pumps, valves and heat exchangers.
• Carry out building repairs and cleaning tasks.
• Operate control panels to manage process variables through automatic regulation and remote control.
• Identify malfunctioning units by observing control instruments and responding to warning signals.
• Inspect equipment to locate leaks, breakages, or faulty valves.
• Coordinate maintenance with the production team.
• Patrol units to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities as required.
• Assist with new installations and projects as requested by supervisor.
• Collaborate with contractors to install new equipment or systems.
• Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs.
• Engage in plant cleanliness programs.
