Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Clean-up Crew worker at our lumber mill in Diboll, Texas. The role focuses on housekeeping to support mill operations and maintenance, including proper disposal of wastes and keeping areas clear of debris.

You will use brooms, shovels, and rakes, operate mobile equipment for bulk removal, and actively participate in the Safety program by following PPE rules and reporting hazards. The work environment is hot, humid, and industrial, with physical tasks and long shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, production, warehouse, farming, or military environment.
• Ability to perform physical requirements such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of mill operating areas in a safe and productive condition to support safety and environmental goals.
• Utilize tools such as brooms, shovels, and rakes to collect process build up or trash.
• Operate mill mobile equipment (skid steer, front end loader) for bulk waste removal and maintain tools required for duties.
• Participate in safety program and wear PPE.
• Perform additional tasks and flexibility to fill in for other roles as needed.
