Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring for a Clean-up Crew worker at our lumber mill in Diboll, Texas. The role focuses on housekeeping to keep mill areas safe, clean, and productive, with duties including waste removal and assisting maintenance teams.

Responsibilities include operating broom, shovel, and rake tools, handling basic mobile equipment for waste removal, and contributing to safety initiatives while adapting to various tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, production, warehouse, farming, or military environment.
• Ability to perform physical requirements such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of mill operating areas in a safe and productive condition.
• Utilize tools such as brooms, shovels, and rakes to collect and remove process build up or trash around mill equipment.
• Operate mill mobile equipment for bulk removal of waste materials.
• Fill in for other roles as needed.
• Participate in the Safety program and wear PPE.
