Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician to operate, maintain and improve system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment at our U.S. facility. This role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, diagnosis, and parts planning for reliable production.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Discipline or a Military Machinist Training background, with 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance and the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Discipline or a High School Diploma/GED with Military Machinist Training.
• Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekends.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and improve system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment.
• Identify and evaluate equipment condition and plan repairs/rebuilds.
• Own preventative maintenance and extensive repairs; diagnose problems, plan work and order parts.
• Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, and related facilities.
