Job summary

The Hershey Company West Hershey plant is seeking Industrial Mechanical Technicians to maintain and repair production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires mechanical troubleshooting, installation, setup, and repair, with compensation based on a skill-based pay system.

Starting pay is $39.37 per hour with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 0.75 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• ,A minimum of three years experience in the industrial, military, or owner/operator trades environment
• ,The successful candidate must be able to effectively function in a fast-paced team environment
• ,High school diploma or G.E.D.
• ,Associates degree in related field or minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment of relevant military experience
• ,Must be at least 18 years of age
• ,Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• ,Must be flexible to work any shift
• ,Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime
• ,Must be authorized to work in the United States
• ,Basic computer skills
• ,Job related mechanical skills will be assessed
