Job summary

The Hershey Company Lancaster plant is hiring a Controls Electrician to support maintenance, repair and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing environment. The role requires strong electrical and PLC skills, the ability to read schematics, and the capacity to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Starting pay is $39.97/hour with a $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd or 3rd shift and a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must possess experience in industrial electrical systems.
• Must possess experience in PLCs.
• Must possess experience with motors and controls (AC and DC).
• Must possess experience with analog and digital devices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and adjust equipment to minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and control system drawings.
• Perform PLC and control system troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and understand electrical diagrams and read prints.
