Job summary

The Hershey Company Lancaster Plant is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot packaging equipment and related machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements include 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred), a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with SAP Maintenance. Willingness to work 2nd/3rd shifts, overtime, weekends, and to pass assessments is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience; food manufacturing preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; ability to read and speak English.
• Experience with SAP Maintenance module is preferred.
• Must be able to work any shift, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• GMP/SQF/TPM/Continuous Improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service, repair and rebuild packaging equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoot packaging and robotic equipment and read engineering drawings.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and read PM schedules.
• Maintain inventories, issue work orders and assist in PM program improvements.
