Job summary

The Hershey Company’s Hazleton Plant seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to ensure continuous operation of high-speed packaging and processing equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot problems, and document technical activities in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Training may extend up to 18 months, with opportunities for advancement based on performance. Eligible to work 12-hour schedules and overtime, with shift differentials and a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be flexible to work all shifts, including weekends and overtime.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment to ensure reliability.
• Performs preventive maintenance on packaging lines and conveyors.
• Troubleshoots issues and documents repairs.
• Completes training program up to 18 months.
