Job summary

AGC Glass Company North America, based in Bellefontaine, Ohio, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance & Tooling Specialist on 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-tech manufacturing equipment, with preventive maintenance and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

Your Day as an Industrial Maintenance & Tooling Specialist

On 2nd Shift In Our General Maintenance Department, You’ll Keep a High-tech Manufacturing Operation Running At Its Best. A Typical Day Blends Hands-on Diagnostics With Planned Upkeep

• Start with a quick scan of CMMS dashboards, enter readings, and review overnight alerts.
• Jump in fast when a line calls—troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic/vacuum, or hydraulic issues to restore equipment performance.
• Repair, rebuild, calibrate, install, and set up facilities/utilities equipment to spec, referencing blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, including during planned shutdowns and weekends, to maximize reliability and efficiency.
• Operate lift equipment, work overhead safely, and verify work with testing and documentation.
• Close out work orders in the CMMS with accurate daily and monthly reporting.

These are hourly roles with a wage rate up to $31.70 per hour (based on experience and competency).

What You Bring

• Familiarity with building automation controls and programming

Physical & Schedule Requirements

Ability to bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive arm movements, lift up to 50 lbs., stand on concrete for extended periods, work mandatory overtime, and tolerate temperatures up to 100+ degrees.
