Job summary

AGF Glass, Inc. in Springfield, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing equipment and facilities in top condition. The role requires HVAC/R, mechanical troubleshooting, welding, machining, and PLC programming with a focus on uptime and safety.

You will train on first shift for 4-6 weeks, work Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, and overtime may be available. Pay starts at $22/hour, with growth opportunities at AGF Glass.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in HVAC/R system maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills when interacting with internal teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of high-voltage systems and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
• Ability to work with logic controllers for equipment programming and adjustments.
• Understanding of hydraulic systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Welding skills for fabrication tasks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities
