Job summary

INDEVCO North America is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support plant upkeep and safe operations. You will help manage maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, preventive maintenance scheduling, and adherence to company procedures. You will participate in safety initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic machine functions and factory safety policies.
• Ability to read, write and perform simple arithmetic.
• Understanding blueprints, schematics, welding and wiring.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and diagnosing failures.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and waste elimination.

Responsibilities

• Create teamwork environment focused on producing quality products.
• Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) is performed per schedule.
• Complete all tracking forms (Hot Work, Work Orders, etc.).
• Operate safely following guidelines and hold self/others accountable.
• Use shop tools, manuals and schematics for troubleshooting and repair.
• Initiate and support improvement initiatives and safety improvements.
• Chair Safety Board and support safety programs.
• Process purchase orders for approval as directed.
• Perform other duties as instructed by Maintenance Lead/Plant Manager.
• Contribute to IPL Food Safety Plan verifications and practices.
