Job summary

INDEVCO Plastics is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform all aspects of plant maintenance safely and efficiently, meeting customer expectations. You will work under the Maintenance Lead and Plant Manager, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and company policies.

You will use shop tools, read blueprints and schematics, complete work orders, and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Familiar with welding and wiring basics.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment of teamwork focused on producing quality products.
• Ensure Preventive Maintenance (PM) is performed on schedule.
• Complete all tracking forms (Hot Work, Work Orders).
• Follow safety guidelines and hold self and others accountable.
• Use shop tools, hand tools, equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Initiate and support improvement initiatives.
• Chair Safety Board.
• Complete all purchase orders for approval.
• Other duties as instructed by Maintenance Lead and Plant Manager.
