Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Maintenance Shift Technician for a North Carolina facility. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and driving reliability improvements.

Qualifying candidates will have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, basic PLC troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics. The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with industrial electrical systems up to 480V three-phase.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience, preferably with Allen-Bradley systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical drawings, and operating procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.
• Computer proficiency for maintenance reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of production equipment, machinery, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including 480V three-phase power, 24V DC controls, motors, contactors, relays, VFDs, switches, and control devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, solenoids, valves, flow controls, and related components.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities for reliability improvements.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in maintenance management systems and logs.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and light machining as needed to support equipment repairs.
• Assist with facility maintenance including lighting, utility systems, and general building upkeep.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment optimization projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
