Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and support safe, efficient operations by following diagrams and manuals.

The role requires experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, the ability to read basic blueprints, operate hand tools, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience of at least 5 years preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read basic machine blueprints is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building and grounds.
• Constructs fixtures as required.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled.
• Repairs facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds.
• Removes and/or installs fixtures and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair.
