Jobot in Rutherfordton, NC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills and a hands-on approach to keeping equipment running reliably.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics and manuals, and coordinate with operations during breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals.
• Textile manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Welding and fabrication experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and repairs.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate with production to restore operation.
• Document repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and maintain an organized work area.
