Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) in Indiana is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance across industrial equipment. You will diagnose root causes, dismantle devices, replace defective parts and test performance to ensure optimal operation.

Additionally, you will identify parts, set up machining operations, participate in 5S and CI activities, update CMMS records, and assist in training junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree with a technical focus plus 3 years of related experience, or 5 years in general industry.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Proficient with basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, diagnose root causes, dismantle devices, replace parts and test performance.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Work independently following industry standards and procedures.
• Set up and operate multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and perform welding as needed.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards; update CMMS history and records.
• Support CI activities to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Assist lower level technicians and lead small teams during tasks.
• Follow all safety policies and identify unsafe conditions in the workplace.
