Qualifications

• Requires high mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with maintenance team and supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair machinery per manufacturer recommendations.
• Remove, disassemble and reinstall equipment like presses, pumps, balers, motors, gear boxes, conveyors using hoists and tools.
• Align machines using laser alignment equipment and set specified clearances.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, turbines, compressors and gearboxes per manufacturer specs.
• Coordinate work with maintenance supervisor, engineers and production to meet department goals.
• Follow all plant safety rules and actively participate in safety programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
