Job summary

Lion Elastomers LLC in Port Neches, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic to install, maintain, upgrade, and repair machinery in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and design plans.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Engineers to keep presses, pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors running, while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards. Overtime and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; NCCER certification is a plus.
• 3+ years in an industrial environment with process manufacturing knowledge.
• Knowledge of plant safety rules and environmental standards.
• Willingness to work overtime and holidays as required.
• Capable of working in confined spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors to meet department goals.
• Disassemble and install machinery including presses, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Align machines using laser equipment and precision tools.
• Repair pumps, turbines, compressors, and gearboxes per specs.
• Maintain safety and environmental program compliance.
