Job summary

Amcor LLC in Hanover, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and monitor the status of all production machines on the floor.

You will work with the shift supervisor to keep machines safe, efficient and compliant with GMP and SQF standards, troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, and document maintenance activities in the designated logs. Strong mechanical aptitude and a high school education are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
• Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• High School or Equivalent Education.
• Plastic molding experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Understand current status of all production machines on the floor.
• Work with shift supervisor to keep machines safe, efficient and quality processes.
• Enter maintenance information in the maintenance log or designated place before departing.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Adhere to GMP and SQF compliance requirements.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Initiate or provide solutions through designated channels.
• Suggest continual improvements and verify implementation.
