Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient upkeep of production machinery and the facility in line with policies. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires hands-on maintenance, problem diagnosis, and safe operation practices.

The candidate should have strong analytical abilities, welding skills, and experience in industrial maintenance, with the ability to work independently or in a team while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Three to five years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical field or related experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strategic thinker.
• Welding skills.
• Previous knowledge of machinery used in polyethylene film manufacturing.
• No fear of heights.
• Basic manufacturing wiring experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on production machinery and equipment to maintain them in proper working condition.
• Perform daily maintenance operations of the facility.
• Report to the maintenance supervisor on issues, status and functions within the department.
• Be on call to assist with maintenance operational needs.
• Diagnose problems with equipment and repair or replace defective parts, fabricating as needed.
• Support and comply with safety and environmental guidelines.
