Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will work with production and maintenance teams to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Key responsibilities include PMs, repairs, and upgrades; document work; ensure safe operation and GMP compliance; and participate in a climate-controlled, 12‑hour shift environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 1–4 years in industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Office 365, JDE and Coast.
• Ability to pass a negative drug screen.
• Capable of physical mobility and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Repair, modify and rebuild plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and locate root causes.
• Document repairs and maintenance work.
• Read schematics and equipment manuals for service and repair.
