Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of molding and manufacturing equipment. The role covers electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems with a focus on safety and quality.

You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild plant machinery, perform PMs, and document repairs; require strong PLC skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years industrial maintenance, manufacturing, technical school /or Associates degree from an accredited technical institute or combination education and experience.
• Regularly required to stand for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Good hand-eye coordination is required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and trouble shoot using schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, remove and replace different types of electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and optic systems.
• Diagnose and repair AC and DC motor controls.
• Replace belts, pulleys, cables, chains, bearings, gears and related equipment.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Perform PM’s, cleans and lubricates molding machines and equipment.
