Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks in repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment at our facility. You will set up, adjust, and maintain equipment, ensuring production and quality while following safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

The role requires 3–7 years of industrial maintenance experience, ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints, and proficiency with electrical testing equipment.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and machining practices
• Proficient at using electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call for shutdowns
• Background in polyethylene film manufacturing a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and takes corrective action
• Performs preventative maintenance checks and inspections
• Tests equipment and makes adjustments to ensure maximum production and quality
• Troubleshoots and maintains equipment including pumps, bearings, gears, valves and other machinery
• Instructs maintenance trainees and communicates with Maintenance Manager or Lead Mechanic
• Adheres to Amcor safety policies and contributes to a safe, clean workplace
