Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose malfunctions, repair machinery, install new equipment, and implement preventative maintenance across assigned systems. The role emphasizes safety, independent work, and proactive documentation to ensure reliability and compliance.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with PVC plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair, plus the ability to read blueprints and operate hand and power tools. Travel for field work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; 3+ years PVC plumbing or mechanical repair experience.
• Preferred: SAP knowledge and electrical/high voltage proficiency.
• Trade school or apprenticeship in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical repair is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist in start-up, commissioning, and testing of plant equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, record-keeping of maintenance activities.
• Provide training on controls, safety, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance to operations.
• Maintain logs and reports of equipment performance and parts used.
• Travel for field repair and install as needed.
