Job summary

Pregis is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep packaging machinery and equipment running smoothly. You will perform both planned and unplanned maintenance on production lines, read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, and document work orders in the CMMS.

The role requires strong problem solving, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work 8-hour shifts with potential overtime. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, 5+ years in manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or technical degree in Mechanics, Electrical, or Computer Science preferred.
• 5+ years experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing.
• Facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot industrial automation equipment including PLC and drive systems.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production machinery.
• Document work orders in CMMS clearly and promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with SOPs and OSHA.
• Assist in inventory of parts and supplies and report low levels.
• Operate hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety protocols.
