Job summary

Pregis is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production operations.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, read schematics, and document work in CMMS while collaborating with production teams to uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with motors, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine controls
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and drive systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair situations
• Perform equipment inspections and complete scheduled maintenance activities
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders using CMMS
• Support production equipment, utility systems, and facility support equipment
• Communicate equipment issues and repair updates with production teams and leadership
• Assist with maintenance parts inventory and stock management
• Follow OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and all company safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment performance and reliability
