Job summary

Puratos in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install and perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment. You will follow standard work practices to keep operations safe and efficient, execute work orders, and support building operations and food safety requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, a High School diploma or GED, and hands-on skills with mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years manufacturing/industrial experience preferred (food manufacturing preferred).
• Strong mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic maintenance skills.
• English language proficiency (read/write/speak).
• Experience with PLCs and electrical control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, install and perform preventative maintenance on facility, packaging, and process equipment.
• Execute work orders and tasks; ensure safety and food safety standards.
• Support building operations and drive manufacturing improvements.
• Read as-built drawings, blueprints, and maintenance logs.
• Maintain positive teamwork and communication within the department.
