Job summary
Isola Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Chandler, AZ facility. You will perform complex troubleshooting and repairs on production line equipment, including mechanical and PLC systems, and conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
The role requires 5 years in industrial maintenance, an associate degree in industrial electrical, and experience with sensors, motors, and PLCs. Overtime and extended shifts may be required to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience with high-volume automated production equipment.
- Associate degree or technical training in industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with sensors, controllers, motor drives, and wiring.
- Knowledge of NEC electrical codes relevant to industrial settings.
- Experience programming or troubleshooting PLCs (Mitsubishi/Omron/Allen-Bradley).
Responsibilities
- Follow safety protocols and comply with ISO, NEC, OSHA standards.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Respond to breakdowns promptly; perform repairs or replacements.
- Apply 5S principles to maintain clean work areas.
- Participate in Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist training of maintenance staff and support Emergency Response Team.
- Read blueprints and schematics; perform welding/fabrication as needed.
- Ensure processes and materials meet company and customer quality requirements.
