Job summary

USALCO seeks a Maintenance Technician to support plant operations by ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The role requires safety focus, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Candidates should be comfortable with on-call shifts and overtime in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read technical documents and follow instructions.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, health, environmental, and quality policies.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on pumps, motors, and control systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using testing and documentation.
• Perform emergency and scheduled repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Fabricate parts using shop equipment and tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specs.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Coordinate with operations and assist contractors.
