Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to repair and maintain pumps, motors, and plant equipment at our Knoxville, TN facility. The role requires on-call availability and weekend work as needed, with compensation starting at $28/hr plus overtime at 1.5x.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, electrical aptitude, and knowledge of pumps, valves, and industrial equipment. HVAC/boiler certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Experience with pumps, motors, compressors, and valves.
• Electrical aptitude with 110V-480V knowledge; PLC knowledge is a bonus.
• HVAC or boiler certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment including pumps, motors, and compressors.
• Provide on-call maintenance and weekend availability as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance with PPE and environmental standards.
• Assist with plumbing and electrical installations as required.
