Job summary

Edgewell is seeking an Elect/Mech Maintenance technician for a day shift in Knoxville, TN. This full-time, project-based role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance, setup and repair of a wide range of machines, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable production.

The ideal candidate has five years of hands-on Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance experience, can read instruments, understands PLC inputs/outputs, and can work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years hands-on experience in industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret instruments and gauges.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code.
• Understanding PLC inputs and outputs and analog signals.
• Flexibility for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machines, equipment and processes.
• Diagnose troubles, replace worn parts and reassemble.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and test operations.
• Set up and adjust equipment to ensure quality production.
• Perform other duties as required.
