Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services in Meriden, CT, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to keep plant equipment running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role covers mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with opportunities to weld and fabricate as needed.

You will inspect, repair, and troubleshoot equipment, complete work orders, and support safe operations in a full-time, on-site environment. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working maintenance in an industrial environment is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in a physically active plant setting, including elevated positions.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair plant equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot and service mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
• Assemble, disassemble, install, clean, and lubricate parts such as bearings, gears, and pulleys
• Perform light welding, grinding, and fabrication work (if qualified)
• Complete work orders, recording repairs and materials used
• Operate lift trucks and powered lifts when needed
• Assist with daily equipment inspections and promote safe operations
• Other duties as assigned
