Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative and general maintenance on equipment and facilities. You will install, repair, and maintain according to machine manuals, prints, or building codes.

This role requires 3–6 years of experience, knowledge of motors, engines, electrical systems, pneumatics, and PLCs, plus strong problem-solving and teamwork. On-call availability and occasional travel are expected; on-site work with potential training of others.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of maintenance/technical experience.
• Knowledge of motors, engines, electrical systems, pneumatics, and PLCs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong initiative, organization, teamwork and communication.
• Good problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain equipment per manuals and codes.
• Maintain physical structures, electrical wiring, plumbing and fixtures.
• Support motor/engine, CNC, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• On-call and occasional travel; may train others.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and department goals met.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
