Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role focuses on complying with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards to ensure reliability and uptime of facility electrical infrastructure.

The technician will service power distribution equipment, motors, and control systems, while maintaining safety programs such as LOTO and arc-flash awareness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Strong safety discipline and LOTO procedures.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability.
• Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors for proper function.
• Assess equipment conditions and maintenance risks for improvement opportunities.
• Apply safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
• Document inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
• Identify and mitigate issues to minimize downtime and cost impacts.
• Communicate findings to customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Enforce company and site safety requirements with zero tolerance for unsafe behavior.
