Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) in Pontiac, IL, is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to perform expert break-fix and preventive maintenance, plus design improvements for complex mechanical and electrical systems on the production floor.

You will troubleshoot and optimize control systems, conduct predictive analyses using vibration, laser interferometry and related techniques, and support CI initiatives to drive reliability and cost savings, with travel as needed and strong adherence

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with technical focus and 7+ years in industry; or, 10 years experience in industry.
• Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; can analyze, synthesize solutions and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance, and designs mechanical/electrical improvements as required.
• Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems for in-depth software/hardware issues.
• Utilizes predictive equipment and interprets results for analysis, condition assessment and proactive maintenance.
• Leads CI activities to drive process improvements and cost savings.
• Identifies and sources parts and repairs, suggesting engineered solutions to improve reliability.
• Maintains CMMS records and contributes to cost analyses and documentation.
