Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician to service and repair manufacturing equipment in a Boone, IA facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and set up injection molding machinery within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read schematics, instructions, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience with industrial equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and machine setup on production and facility equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete emergency repairs to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Install, adjust, and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Set up, start up, and maintain injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Support automation systems, robotics, and process equipment.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all safety requirements.
• Complete maintenance records and work orders using CMMS software.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
